Whispers of Hope Horse Farm is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a 100% volunteer staff.

It is a facility designed to assist physically and mentally challenged individuals through therapeutic riding at no cost. Whispers of Hope Horse Farm’s goal is to provide a safe, educational and therapeutic environment for the horse and rider in a Christian based atmosphere.

 All youth who reside in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma are eligible to participate in the program.

Thank you for your interest in Volunteering at Whispers of Hope Horse Farm. We are holding our Spring Adult Volunteer Training for Challenged Class Horse Handling and Assistants. We would love for you to come out and be a part of our volunteer team and help out with a great cause!

Requirements to attend training:
1) Must be 18 or older
2) Must commit to a minimum of one or more of the following:
a) 4 consecutive Tuesday evenings
b) 4 consecutive Thursday evenings
3) Must be physically able to stand on feet for long periods of time,
walk with ease, lift saddles, etc
4) Must be committed to being on time ready to work.

During Training you will learn:
1) About our programs and facility
2) How to Groom, Tack, and general care of a horse
3) How to be a horse handler
4) How to handle a horse with a challenged rider
5) Behavior around challenged children
